FLOURISHING TOGETHER RESEARCH ASSISTANT

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced research assistant to join the Burwood Academy team for a three-year Health Research Council (HRC) funded project.

Flourishing Together: including tāngata whaikaha in health policy development aims to positively impact health for tāngata whaikaha (disabled people) by developing methods to better contribute to policy planning in Aotearoa, NZ.

You will have the opportunity to work within an experienced and innovative national research team. You will be working with Dr Rachelle Martin, Cate Grace, Te Ao Marama Apiata and Dr Jo Nunnerley [tag them all on LinkedIn] at the Burwood Academy Trust, and with other university researchers from across Aotearoa, NZ.

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working in a research team
  • Work experience or education in the area of disability, health and/or social science fields
  • Time management, project management and team coordination skills
  • Experience with IT systems and specialised research software

Working hours: Part time position, flexible working 12 hours per week.
