Joanne has 12 years research experience in older persons health, earthquake population health, and clinical laboratories performance. She is well networked with Māori and Pasifika social workers in older person’s health. She supports researchers in the academy to write grant applications and publish their work. Currently she is leading a project co-designing a peer-led self-management programme for people with arthritis.
