“I am excited to be part of this project within an incredibly supportive environment.”

Maureen O’Reilly

Research Assistant

Maureen has always been interested in working in the health sector, having worked as a Registered Nurse in various capacities (hospital, district and practice nursing) for many years.

She also has a love of sports (competing in running, multi-sport and cycling events) and completed a sports studies diploma.  In her spare time she loves to cycle and is currently a volunteer coach for a local high school cycling team.

Recently returning to university, Maureen enrolled in a postgraduate psychology course where her research project is on concussion in cyclists.  It was through this project she had the opportunity to join the BAT team working on the project ‘Improving outcome after mild traumatic brain injury’ led by Dr Debbie Snell.
